I started Suma Detail out of necessity. When I bought the Mustang GT, I knew I wanted to protect the paint with ceramic coating to maintain the new car look.
But I didn't want to spend over $2,000 dollars for professional coating. The DIY ceramic was either hard to apply or didn't do the job.
The more I looked into it, the more I became confused with ceramic marketing out there.
I told my bother, who is a chemist specialized in coating, about my frustration.
And we decided to tackle this issue, developing the ceramic coating that would be easy to apply for DIY users, who aren't professionally trained, without compromising the coating quality.
That was our breaking bad moment.
